Early Birthday Present
My lovely wife Michelle graciously offered to buy me an original comic art page as an early birthday present. She actually bought me three pages but I don't have a scan of the others yet.
The art is from G.L.A. #2. It's by the great Paul Pelletier. He's become one of my favorite artists over the last couple of years. I own 15 or so pages by him now. I'm totally looking forward to him becoming the new artist on Exiles. He will be reuniting with Tony Bedard, his writer from the much missed Negation comic from CrossGen.

Sketch Week 05/23/05
Sometimes I like to find pencilled comic pages and ink them for fun. Today's sketch is one such piece.
John Byrne has always been one of my favorite comic artists and lately he has been posting pencil scans of his work at his webpage. I liked this Batman/Demon image so I inked it.

Sketch Week 2
Ok. So I haven't done any new sketches recently but in the interest of posting something here is an older sketch.
A few years ago I was interested in maybe picking up some original atwork from Savage Dragon. Well, Erik Larsen doesn't sell his stuff so I had to draw my own. Here's Savage Dragon Dowling Style!

Comic Sketch Challenge
So Keith has "suggested" I do a superhero themed sketch a week which I have agreed to do. Hell I never seem to draw anymore...stupid City of Heroes taking all my free time. Anyway, I thought I'd start it off with a bang, posting something I sketched not too long ago. (Well, ok almost a year ago. But new stuff will be a-coming!)
This was a sketch I was doing for my mom-in-law. She's wanted me to do a Catwoman for her but this is a far as I ever gotten with it. Just sketches. Someday I'll put it on good paper.
