In the end, I was very disappointed with this new OMAC series. Further, I ended up feeling very negative about nearly all the surrounding events and tie-ins. I was willing to accept that some heroes went "over the line" as they took the law into their own hands and mytically lobotomized Dr. Light, but I don't buy that Batman created Brother I, that Maxwell Lord is retroactively one of the most sinister and evil characters in the universe, or that there was any need to kill off Blue Beetle. Worst of all, Wonder Woman is now a murderer. Poor handling of the DC Universe, nearly all around. I can only imagine that Infinite Crisis will makes everything worse by an order of magnitude. I look forward to confidently ignoring DC crossover storylines/books for the next year or two until they whiplash back to writing about actual heroes.

Yes, I've had a bad feeling about the DC Universe for awhile now. Especially the handling of Batman and Superman. I don't mind that Wonder Woman killed though, she is an Amazon Warrior after all. It's been written that when all of this is said and done DC will be bringing back the superheroics into their heroes. I for one can't wait.
